Euroa is a very picturesque town nestled at the base of the Strathbogie Ranges and looking towards the plains. It is bound by two streams - Seven Creeks and Castle Creek which adds to its beauty and serenity. All this and only 1hr 45mins from Melbourne via the Hume Freeway.
Visit the To Do page for a list of all the things to do in Euroa and the surrounding Strathbogie Ranges.
Euroa and district has many attractions and activities. The town has a confined retail centre based in one town block which provides convenient and easy shopping. There are many early buildings built at the height of Queen Victoria's era. All of these buildings have a solidity and elegance that adds to the character of our town. Many of these buildings are located close to the shopping precinct and can be found in Binney Street (amongst the shops), in Kirkland Avenue, Clifton Street and Railways Street.
As Euroa offers both flat lands and the ranges, this also means that the activities available are also varied. The Strathbogie Ranges historically was prime grazing land for Merino sheep and fat lamb production now the farmers have diversified with farming now extending into cattle, cropping, cool-climate wines and a growing equine industry.
To top it all off, there are the scenic drives, bush walks, creeks and waterfalls, birds and animals and from many locations breathtaking views.
